There’s something about moon shells that sparks my imagination.  In the drawing above, I used the design of a Northern Moon Snail as a starting point for some rainbow-like colour combinations and patterns. 

Colored pencils were employed on heavy textured paper.

  1. Yes, I have been here to view your lovely seashell art before – it is now added as a link on my blog – don’t know why I dodn’t think of it. This one has the most beautiful colors. I’ll bet it was fun to do!

      Thank you millhill. It was indeed a lot of fun to do. I had to press hard because the paper was very textured so the colors turned out more brilliant than usual.
